Dates:
The first qualification round of the Match play competition must be played between the 13th of October and the 30th of November. The Tee Times available for the competition during weekdays will start at 14:00 hours and on weekends all times are available. Each player will be responsible for making their own agreed times for the match, and the same will apply for subsequent rounds.
Registration:
- The registrations must be made at UGR – La Tercia. Handicaps – Spanish Federation National Handicap or a verified Society Handicap.
- Closing Date for Registration will be 1th October.

Gentlemen: Yellow Markers
Ladies : Red Markers .
. Match play – Individual with Handicap
The player with the higher handicap will receive the total number of strokes between the two player´s handicaps, and will take those strokes where they correspond on the course according to the handicap rating on the given holes. For Example: if the difference in the two handicaps is 1 then the player with the handicap advantage will receive an extra stroke at the hole which has a rating of Handicap/Stroke 1.
. Greensome Macthplay - Partners:
Each partner/player does swing on each tee. After that, the game will continue with only one of the 2 balls (freely chosen by the team), alternating until finishing each hole.
In the case of a draw, a sudden death playoff will start from hole number 1, and continue until a result is achieved, according to the Green Book of the RFEG.
The date and time for the match will be organised and agreed between the players. It will be essential to put telephone contact numbers, for ease of organizing.

Rules and Condititions of the Competition.
- Participants must be over 16 years of age and hold a Spanish national Handicap or a handicap verified by their society Handicap Secretary.
- In the case of an absence of a player in subsequent competitions a draw will be taken from eliminated players from previous matches.
- Participants can play in the different categories while playing in the gentlemen or in the doubles or vice a versa
Prizes:
- The winners of each match play competition: Gentlemen, Ladies and Doubles will be the holders for a year of the club floating trophy with their name engraved on it, plus other exciting prizes. The trophy will be returned for the following year's competition.
